M.B.A. with a Concentration in International Business

Study Abroad on the International Field Seminar

In the real world, International M.B.A.s deal with the competitive challenges and opportunities created by conducting business globally. The M.B.A. with a Concentration in International Business concentrates on developing effective international business leaders to meet the needs of multinational corporations and business ventures operating around the world. Students learn to successfully manage across borders and in different country, cultural and institutional environments. International M.B.A.s learn to conduct business within the framework of global monetary systems, individual government policies and general economic, political, social and cultural conditions worldwide.

The exciting world of International Business offers students the option to travel on a STUDY ABROAD with the International Field Seminar or study emerging markets in a classroom setting or complete an internship. M.B.A. IB graduates take away the focused skills necessary to develop and market an entrepreneurial international business venture as well as learning the takeaways of import/export practices. Admissions Deadlines:

Winter 2018 First 8 Week Term: December 15, 2017

Winter 2018 Second 8 Week Term: March 2, 2018

Summer 2018: April 20, 2018

  • M.B.A. core courses offered weeknights, or during the day on the main campus and online. International Business courses offered weeknights on the main campus and online.
  • Program can be completed in as little as 21 months.
  • Program begins five times annually with starts in August, October, January, March, and May.

Because Master's level study extends knowledge and skills acquired in both the classroom and workplace, each of our programs of study assume prerequisite knowledge in selected content areas.

Master of Business Administration (all concentration areas)
  • Completion of the following undergraduate course sequence (B- or higher and for the foundation courses to transfer, the Bachelor’s degree has to have been completed/earned within 5 years from the date of graduation from your Bachelor's degree program):
    • Business or Corporate Finance (8 weeks, online or evenings)
    • Statistics (8 weeks evenings, 16 weeks online)
  • Completion of the following undergraduate course sequence (C or higher and for the foundation courses to transfer, the Bachelor’s degree has to have been completed/earned within 10 years from the date of graduation from your Bachelor's degree program):
    • Financial Accounting (16 weeks evenings or online)
